With the TANKO® ORS, AWH offers an innovative sensor solution for monitoring fast-rotating surge cleaners in process engineering plants. The sensor sets new standards for process reliability and efficiency, especially for the food, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

 

 

Intelligent control for maximum safety

The TANKO® ORS is an optical rotation sensor that is installed directly on the sight glass and detects the rotational movement of the surge cleaner without contact. Optical distance measurement precisely detects each passing cleaning surge – the rotational speed is reliably recorded and any failure of rotation is reported immediately. An integrated optical status display in the housing provides operating and maintenance personnel with clear feedback on the cleaning process at all times.

Robust and hygienic – ideal for demanding applications

The housing is made of high-quality plastic, is chemical-resistant, and designed for hygienic environments. It is easily mounted on the sight glass at the top of the tank. The electrical connection via M12 connector and IP66 protection rating guarantee safe installation even under demanding conditions.
